2012 - Movie Review
Man, they sure do know how to make movies nowadays.
I remember back then when Sean Connery and Roger Moore hit the screens, it was like,"Wow". And we will be patiently waiting for the next James Bond movies.
After that, things get more exciting with Tom Cruise MI-1,2,3. Then came Arnold Schwarzenegger ( I always cannot spell his name, hope I got it right) with his Terminator stuff.
THEN…the computer starts to creeps in and with technology stuff, things really got different now. Did you watch Pelham 1-2-3?? Awesome.
And now, 2012. What can I say? Two thumbs up.

But then, this movie don't have any aliens, baddies, predators or anything that destroys the earth. To understand why this movie is created, you have to understand the very beginning of the bible first, for that is where the story leads us.
The first part of the Bible - Genesis - states that when God created Adam and Eve and when the population gets bigger and the world gets more and more corrupted, God was angry. He then decided to wipe out the world with the Big Flood and leave only Noah and his family and 2 of each animals to survive, asking him to build a big ship to cater all his family and the animals.
In this movie, the end of the world is 2012. With earthquake and tsunami happening everywhere, thus create the Big Impact. But in 2009, an Indian guy detected the symptoms, let an American known, and hence the Government secretly build a big space ship in China near Tibet, allocating only special green cards VVIP in this world.
And so, the rest of this movie starts with the race of John Cusack and his family, the main actor, to the ship, stumbled upon him accidentally while camping with his children in a National Park.
This is a very high speed thrilling movie, kept you to your seats, suspense, terror and bring some tears to your eye too.
Note some funny scenes if you haven't watch yet. Arnold Schwargie, the Governor of California and of course, the President of America, Obama. The imitation of Arnie's sound on the TV was good and his face was almost identical.
The rest of it, sit back, fasten your seat belt, and enjoy the movie.
