Post-Songkran
While the Red shirts demonstrators charge through Pattaya and Bangkok and cause everybody to scatter out during Songkran period, we were charging through the beaches of Rayong all the way to Chantaburi.
We were expecting the beaches to be fully booked and as such, we just plan to drive along and look see look see. We were in for a surprise.
Beautiful stretch of natural beaches were just scattered all over the place.

The road led our car up the hill and the view was beautiful here.

At the bottom of the hill.

Joanna and her baby elephant. She loves her elephant.

Eventually, we found this stretch of place so deserted that we thought that the Red Shirts were here before! Just the perfect place to chill down and relax. Cos per night? 600 Baht for these bungalows! With TV and aircon too.

After unpacking, we hit straight to the beach, just across the road. This is the place where we literally laze throughout the whole day. Joanna just loves the swing on the tree.

In the morning, the only people seen is these couple selling Soya Bean and "Yau Cha Kwei".

The perfect place to sit down, build a hammock there, eat, sleep and drink the whole day.

My favourite food, Pat Mama Kee Mao. Just normal mee.

Som Tam papaya salad and meat.

While I read a book and just laze around, Joanna was playing alone on the beach. She just loves it.

View from the seaside where we stay the whole day.

Evening time.

As I am too busy at site right now, just pictures and pictures. Next post, more pictures during Songkran.
