Khao Chamao National Park
If there is anything that you ask me about Thailand that I like most, it is the huge supply of national parks dotted all around Thailand from north to south and from east to west.
Khao Chamao National Park is another natural park with lots of ancient old oak trees and flowers everywhere that you can almost smell it when you park your car.

It is located at Chantaburi, deep down east of Rayong side. As with any other parks, waterfall is inevitably there.

Walking up to the waterfall needs approximately 15 minutes to 20 minutes. And reaching the entrance, we discovered that there are 9 levels of different sceneries. Depending on how endurance and strength that you have, each level has its sets of beauty.

Naturally, we went to..err…the first level only. With 4 kids tagging along and every time they are like this……

You don't wanna destroy the crystal clear waterfall to be diluted with yellow urines, don't ya? No, you don't.

Hikng up to the first level. Here we go.

This old tree must be hundreds of years old. Look a the huge base at the feet of the trunk.

For tall people like me, you have to be careful when crossing this one. Even the lady has to droop her head down.

Beautiful flowers.

The last time I saw water as crystal clear as this must be 20 years ago in Menglembu Kledang hill when there are no houses at the hill and a stream of water as clear as this flows through.

Jason didn't play when we reach the waterfall because he hurt his feet the day before and so with a bandage on, no water is allowed.

Joel, Chris's son (Yeah, Chris family and us went there together) is so "geng". He is attempting to jump down from this rock to the pool of waterfall below him. And it is quite a deep plunge, I tell you. For me, yeah, I would plunge in too…..20 years ago.

This trip is just a passby one as we were going to explore Chantaburi more and we just took a break and visit this waterfall. More of Chantaburi later.
