Weird Joanna
My daughter is kinda weird.
Last week at the dinner table, SH fried a big fish for dinner. Joanna sits obediently on her chair and starts eating. Then suddenly she beckon to me, “Daddy I want that one” pointing to the fried skin of the fish.
“You like that one”?
“Yes” was the answer. OK, its fried stuff, kids love fried stuff, so I guess it’s nothing unfamiliar.
Two nights ago, at dinner table again, SH STEAM a fish this time. “Sek Pan” fish. Without realizing, Joanna beckons me again and pointed to the fish head. “Daddy. wo yau yue pi” (I want the fish skin). This time I was surprised. This is steam fish and not fried, she loves the fish skin! SH says not to worry as it is full of vitamins, though I am not sure coz I never passed Biology’s SPM.
And yesterday night, yet at the table again, this time SH boiled fish soup using salmon fish and you know, salmon fish skin is SO…BLACK! Under the black skin is just so full of fish oil. And Joanna actually ask me to peel off the skin from the head and ate it as if it is some sort of delicacy.
Isn’t she weird?
