Car back

Filed at 8:00 pm under Bangkok Happenings by tangcyee

Finally, after the long and agony wait for my car, 4 months and 13 days to be exact, my car is finally repaired and returned back to me, once again, no thanks to BT Insurance and its extremely bad service.

For those who know about our miracle escape last year, it was such a frustrating wait without a car. I don't usually complain a lot, - not my habit - but for anybody who have to wait for 4.5 months for such a simple and minor repair, plus you have to pay rent for 5 months to get around, plus you have to pay installment as usual for the original damaged car, plus you receive bad service from the insurance, then bad service from the garage people who doesn't care who the heck are you, well, there you have it.

Talking about the garage, the manager there is "Stomach full selling pau". I have a feeling he is so rich that he doesn't care whose car is slow and whose car is not. A guy who never smiles, as if he is busier than Pak Lah..oops..Pak Lah sleeps in his meeting, sorry, I rephrase that, busier than Samak (PM of Thailand) and walks around the garage giving instructions to his worker.

In fact, for the past three months, we have stop dropping by at his garage to check on the status. Feels so TL to go there.

Anyway, BT insurance has lost my vote and I am contemplating to change the insurance for any, touch wood, untowards incident again.

Meanwhile, I am glad to drive back my old car after driving a Fortuner, a Vios, and a Honda Jazz for the past few months. My apartment security thought that this must be one crazy guy who change his car every month!
