Last FM- My favourite FM
Maybe you guys have known by now but I have found this website very very ..hmm..how to describe this…..up to my taste..grooving..yeah, that should be the word. I mean, I am a hard core Canto-Pop idol of the 80's and people like Jacky Cheung, Sam Hui, Emil Chou, Sally Yeh, George Lam, Alan Tam, Eason Chan, William So, Jeff Chang, Danny Chan, Sammi Cheng to name a few are my favourite idols.
So, when I stumble Last Fm by chance, I fell in love immediately with this site and the music is on all the time when I am online, believe it or not. Download the software and save your favourite songs when it is broadcasted and you can listen to it over and over again.
The most pleasant surprise is when you are working and listening to the songs, suddenly songs of Danny Chan's "Lin Yie" - Ripples of the water - my favourite oldies came on air. Or suddenly Sam Hui's "Mai San Kai" (Contract) or even Alan Tam's "Ching weng yuen cheok mai" -My all time favourite- came on air. It definitely makes my day.
As I am typing, Jacky Cheung's all time favourite "Wen Pie" -Kiss Goodbye- is now on air. How pleasantly soothing. Check it out if you do not know this website yet. Cool.
It's very easy, really. Once you have joined Last FM, Click Listen on the Dashboard, and type in your favourite artist, eg. Jack Cheung. His songs will come to your ears immediately. Mmmm…
