Data Entry Bank - A Scam?

Filed at 8:54 am under Earn Money in the Net by tangcyee

I feel like writing down this blog for the benefit of other people who might face the same predicament as I did. You see, I joined Data Entry Bank program about four months ago and I did made some pretty good sales. According to them, they will pay me every fortnight. Well, I did receive a check from them and my, not only it is a hassle to cash it, it was bounced from my local bank! To make it simple, I made sales, they gave me a check dated 24th Dec 2006. (My sales is accumulated during November and December respectively). However, I only received it end January due to the time taken for them to send the cheque over all the way from UK to Bangkok.

I bank it into my account in which they say that they will charge me commission charges for overseas cheque. Yes, this is actually a cheque written and signed by DEB. I’m fine with that. The money was then transferred and I was thinking, hurrah, my first paycheck from Data Entry Bank. Then came the hammer. The bank contact me a few days later and informed that the cheque was not honoured and I have to return the amount to the bank as I have cash it after transferred. I wrote a mail to DEB telling them my predicament and they replied that they will replace it with a fresh cheque. Well, at least they did replied and this shows that at least their support team is responding to customers enquiries.

I have received the new cheque today dated 14th February 2007 but it is already 27th February as I am writing this. Again, after banking it in, it would probably take another one week for clearance, it would probably be mid March before I can cash in, again assuming that the cheque is not bounced. So, from the date of sales to cash in, it is a total of 3 months. Give me Google Adsense anytime. They paid their cheque promptly every month and also via Citibank in your local bank so it is payment guaranteed. The only thing that I don’t understand is, why is DEB not paying through Paypal? Again, I’d prefer payment via Paypal anytime as it is also a guaranteed payment.

So, the question is, is Data Entry Bank a scam as most people asked in the forum? I think it is not because the method that they teached is just comfortable for those who are new to Internet Marketing. I have been making sales and I have been paid. But then again, I’d say I will reserve my comment and keeping my finger crossed until this cheque is cleared. Will let all readers know the outcome. One thing good about DEB is they do replied your mails and questions, proving that they are not scammers. My conclusion? I believe DEB is not a scam. Even programs like type-at-home are almost similar to DEB ( I have joined that too) but I feels DEB offers better opportunity than them in terms of contents.
