A Fathers Day Poem
A Father and dad are not the same
One can be a Dad and not a Father, or
One can be a Father and not bother
To earn through love the more endearing name
Some find fatherhood a bit too tame.
leaving all details to the mother
Or dumping the sweet burden on another.
Man with just a passing twinge of shame.
You have been our Dad for many years
That you've became the landscape that is home.
The mountain that we look from afar.
No matter where we go, we're not alone,
For you remain within to still our fears
and be the word that tells us who we are.
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY, DAD, we love you.
Signed Jason and Joanna.
Aww..isn't that sweet. Couldn't believe my ears when my son read this to me in front of the church service yesterday. He really wrote that poem by himself? Yes, he really did. My 12 year old boy. Gee, I'm impressed. Thanks, son.
This could be the best Fathers Day I've ever had.
HAPPY FATHERS DAY Dad. too. We love you
