Home Made Dishes

Told ya I am so free now, didn't I? Came back earlyfor 2 consecutive days and hence decided to cook some food for everybody. What to do? 2 hands "fing-fing", nothing to do, so cook the kids favourite dish loh. The first day cooked "Koo Lou Yook" (Sweet and Sour Pork) but forgot to take pictures.

Today, cooked these.

a) Ginger and Garlic Chicken. (Keong choong kai). Tips:- Without any oil before cooking, throw the ginger into a hot wok first. These removes the water contents and also brings out the fragrance of the ginger. After you have finish cooking everything, put the ginger last. Yummy.

Dish 2:- Deep Fried Ikan Bawal (Pak Chong Fish) and tomato ketchup sauce. Tips:- Put salt onto the fish before deep fried first. I think this should not be a tip. Every Tom Dick and Harry seems to know this tip. Hehe.

Dish 3:- Errrr…hullo, what the ….is this? Soup? Black color? "CY's soup of the day?" Hehe. Apparently, I fried the "Kong yue jai" (Small dried fish) too black and hence when I pour water to make soup, it turns out black. Haha.

Luckily, the kids still gobble up all the food and dishes. No complains from them. Even Joanna who needs to be called endless times came straight to the table upon dinner being served. Wah, Papa food delicious hoh? Hehe.

And so, tonight's dinner. Adios!
